The committee consists of representatives from SBP, the Finance Division (Government of Pakistan), and five major banks (NBP, HBL, UBL, ABL, and MCB Bank). The amount approved by the Apex Committee for the sessions 2017-18, 2018-19, and 2019- 518 deserving students from public sector universities across the country studying in various fields of undergraduate, graduate, and Ph.D. Will be distributed. 2020

The purpose of the student loan scheme is to provide financial assistance to talented students with inadequate resources. Loans are given for a maximum period of 10 years from the date of payment of the first installment and six months after the date of first employment or one year from the date of completion of studies, whichever is earlier, paid in monthly installments.
