Learn about the program
The PM announced the Ehsaas Ration Program on November 3, 2021.
The program will give to 20 million families who will be selected through a recently completed Ehsaas survey.
Total 130 million people will benefit from the Ehsaas program. In fact, 53% of Pakistan's population will benefit.
A discount of Rs.1000 per family will be given on the purchase of lentils, flour, and ghee/cooking oil every month.
The facility will be available at stores designated by the National Bank of Pakistan.
The half-year budget of the Ehsaas program for the current financial year is 120 Rs. billion. The cost of the program will be borne jointly by the federation & the provinces involved in Ehsas Ration Assistance.
So far, the provincial governments of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Punjab, and Azad Jammu, and Kashmir have joined the program.
Qualification criteria
The eligible house will be selected through the completed Ehsas Survey. This Ration Program will cover 20 million houses In Pakistan.
